I have been having major problems since the battery was dissconnected tonight. Got code but keep entering it incorrectly. on 3rd attempt I waited and drove for a bit the display went to ---- and was able to enter a code but then waht button do i press to confirm. When I do what the mannual says bu holding the AS button down but it wont beep before entering the code. I am at the end of my tether. please help. step by step instructions would be perfect. Every web entry is different

That usually means you are using the wrong code as the AS button is the one used to store the code
