So my PSP screen is broken and I don't want to pay to replace it or replace it myself, and I have an old VGA monitor that I want to connect it to. So I've picked out a few cables.

I found the cable that outputs composite video/audio from the PSP here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VIUNZI/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

And an adapter that converts composite video to VGA here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000V6W7ZY/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lp o-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001NXDQEK&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX 0DER&pf_rd_r=1RE4047740XVT71MGCBD

So can I just hook up the two cables and plug one end into the PSP and one into the monitor? I don't have much experience with video formatting but I do know that composite video and VGA signals are both analog so this should work. If someone could clarify that'd be cool.
