I did kung fu for several years and I enjoyed learning and mastering the forms. I felt they are economical and at the same time nice. Also, felt the inner logic in it. The "master" even knew some of the function of certain moves.

Now I am older (47), and I just do one kung fu form (tiger) for keeping in shape, just to move around, because going to the gym just bores me to hell as opposed to do a form, which for me makes sense.

At the same time I know well that in a sharp fight situation or for example with a boxer I would be on the floor, so the best strategy would be to run away.

So I just wonder if there is a series of movement connected to MMA that includes those techniques.

In practiced my head I think If I would practice such movement series (say form) would give me a chance in real life fighting situations. )

So MMA gurus, ? what can you say ?
