Thanks for explaining it. Their price jump downward will no doubt cause others to take notice and maybe some action themselves. Maybe it'll be a trend. I'll go with whoever is decent and matches it.

We now have Canada Roaming.
Also why don't they just roll customers onto the "new" plans instead of having them call to change the plan?
they are probably using sprint and verizon, however the west coast is sprint roaming.
Don't get too hung up on the map, you wont know for sure unless you actually go where sprint or another roaming partner has coverage but it's not listed on the map.
For example The entire Rich county in Utah is shown with no coverage yet two of crickets unlimited roaming partners have signal and towers in the area. The map shows the radio signal dies right at the county line :-) (which of course it doesnt) I haven't gone up there but i'm 95% certain that there's coverage even though cricket's map shows otherwise.
Sprint T&T roaming is built into the plan price but Verizon roaming is pay by the minute something that BCDMA does not make available to its users at this point anyway so this does give them more coverage than Boost for sure.
Nationwide Coverage not Service.
If you want unlimited in Atlanta MetroPCS is your best bet. That is who Cricket would roam/operate on in Atlanta anyway.
The fee for plan migration..switching plans..has been dropped as well.
i just look up my area code 15210 and saw that cricket coverage is EVERYWHERE with the Nationwide Talk...how can i tell if this is all crickets towers or sum is sprint/verizon towers??
And whats going to stop someone from driving to a Cricket area and getting an account with a fake address? Or buy a cricket phone and phone activate it?
VM and Boost Unlimited are $50/mo, Cricket is offering the same thing for $30/mo.
Comparing cricket's $30 plan with boost's $50 plan is a stretch as you only get unlimited talk with no other features or services.
