How to clutch wheelie an 08' Ducati 848?

I've been riding bikes for 5 yrs now, however I just bought my 08' 848 and yes I could power it up in 1st no problem, but once I tried clutching it up in second the RPM died on me and the front wheel never left the road, also the bike felt as if it lost power for a second but then regained the speed that I was at, thanks and look forward to replys

It's called no guts in second gear.Your earlier post about the gsxr is why I say that, the rpm difference between the 2 is a lot.If you want to make 2nd gear wheelies I suggest doing a sprocket change-1 down in the front and 2 up in the back that should give you some more kahuna's in second gear.
