Why is Philip Rivers having a slow start to the year?

I have him as my fantasy quarterback (my substitute sucks. hasnt even played yet, probably wont at all. so i cant use him). Rivers has 4 touchdowns but 6 interceptions. Both of my kickers, 2 out of my 3 wide recievers, one of my runningbacks and my green bay defence is doing better.

The Chargers and their players always start slow. The points will probably fly in later in the year... Unless it's a permanent problem this year.
