I like to sleep to the sound of a fan so i run a fan while i sleep so generally, lets just say 8 hours. My roommate listens to the tv all night for lets say the same amount of time. Is my fan using more electricity then the tv or is the tv using more electricity

Does having your tv on all night use more electricity then having a box fan on all night?
