I have a pair of neon blue dwarf gourami and they are in a breeding tank and the male has been making a bubble nest for the past couple of days but is blowing them just randomly but thats not the problem, he and the femal are not eating at all. i put blood worm pellets in sometimes just four and they dont eat, i feed them twice a day, bloodworm pellets in the morning and tropical flakes in the evening. i leave the tank for a few hours and when i come back they are still floating on top. the reason they float is because the filter doesnt make much movement on the surface so that it doesnt destroy his hard work and the main reason im worried is because he is a very slow worker. i have bred this type of fish before and they didnt have this problem, is it maybe because he has never made a nest before because he is a first time father? please answer i dont want them to die of starvation!
