When I returned home this evening I parked my car and noticed that the fan stayed on. I turned the car back on and double checked what the heat was at on my car and it was less than half way up the gauge. I left it alone for like ten minutes and when I came back out the fan was still on. I tried to start my car again and now it won't start. The battery is pretty much dead but the fan is still on. (after about 45 minutes now) I looked at the battery and the top part near the positive terminal it is corroded pretty bad. I know this will cause a bad charge but why is the fan still on? I'm going to get a new battery tomorrow morning but any suggestions to what it could be?
