I'm looking into buying my first car and it is between a Honda accord wagon and a VW golf. I'm hesitant to buy a VW because I hear they are more expensive to maintain and aren't as reliable as Japanese cars. But I love the way they look and drive and it seems like the mpg is much better. Any suggestions?
