Flour Storage -- Glass Fido Jars/Refrigeration When storing flour in sealed glass jars, is refrigeration necessary?

If I were to store my baking flours in Fido jars (air tight glass jars sealed with a rubber gasket and metal clamp), can I store them in the pantry with the same length of preservation as if I were to store them in the refrigerator?
No. The point is not to buy very small quantities. The point is to save money and store the flours in a manner which preserves them.

I am buying gluten-free flours, which are very expensive--quantity lowers the price, and a large variety of different flours is required for various recipes, unfortunately.

Is sealed glass jar storage equal to refrigeration?
