On my laptop it tells me i have this device. I am looking to by a device that requires my computer to have a 256mb graphics card, and i was wondering if this is it.

Yes. However, this is probably the crappiest 256 mb 'graphics card' you could own and would probably not be able to run ANY modern game despite the fact it meets this 256mb requirement.
