Can I use a Telus iPhone on Rogers?

I might buy my friends old iPhone (3GS) from her. But it was from Telus and I'm on Rogers. I was thinking I could just put my Sim card into it but I want to make sure that it will work. Will I have to unlock it or are these networks just not compatible? Please help; thanks in advance. =)

Hi yes until you unlock your iphone 3gs from telus network you can't use it with rogers sim ..You can easily unlock your iphone 3gs with the help of sites like WickedUnlock.com here they are rendering remote unlocking service to unlock all model iphone from network lock .After unlocking your iphone you can freely use it with any GSM sim ...
