A little while ago I deposited money into an ATM at an RBC branch, little while later I got a letter saying that they've debited x-amount of dollars from my account because the money in the envelope was apparently less than what I punched into the machine. So I went and talked to the people at that branch and no luck, they wouldn't help at all. Later I went to a different RBC branch and asked what I could do and this nice gal told me to go up to the branch that I have a problem with and file a PTB dispute.

My only problem is that I have no idea what a PTB dispute is and I'd rather not go into the bank and look like a total idiot when they already think I'm some kinda student thief.

Thank you in advance!

And please don't put any comments about how I'm not going to get my money back, I realize trying to fight with a big corporate bank probably won't work out in my favor but I at least have to try.
