I am baffled by exactly how i should do it.
I tried it once today, and was pretty disappointed.
I am using Finish Line Multi-degreaser(non-spray) and Finish Line Dry Lube.

What i did was...
i poured some of the degreaser fluid onto a piece of rag and wiped the chain while i back-pedal, as expected lots of black gunk stuck onto my rag.
Up to this point is what the how-to videos from finish line suggested that i do when using the degreaser.
But i found that my chain is still dirty! and the degreaser is actually greasy! i tried water( as stated at the back of the bottle, use water to rinse off the dirt and stuff) and soapy water, but it hardly removed the degreaser.

I am at my wits end, and am just settled for now and re-lubed, now i am still waiting till tomorrow before i wipe off any excess lube.

Did i do anything wrong or anything i could do better?
How do i remove the degreaser properly or it is like that? it leaves a coat of grease, and is this good?

Need some help on this!

Thank you!!
