The last update on the Frostwire file sharing program that used the Gnutella network was 4.21.1 (to the best of my knowledge). Since then the program has switched to the Bit Torrent network, and came out with Frostwire 5 which forced it on it's peers. In my experience Bit Torrent is a horrible network riddled with viruses & tattler/tracking attachments that can get through your computer's protections because they're just pieces that get rebuilt inside your system, and are not "threats" until they're assembled with whatever it was you were downloading. My question is, has or will Frostwire ever return to the Gnutella network? And if not, does anyone know of another file sharing program that currently uses it?
