They wrote checks to his campaign committee.
the only thing they have in common is their color...
They did not. Obama is an embarassment to the legacy of MLK. Malcolm X was a thug.
Martin Luther King Jr. and the Republican Party played a role. The Democrat Party tried to stop any blacks from being free or having civil rights.Republican Party with Abraham Lincoln went to war to end slavery. The Democrat Party went to war to continue to be allowed to have blacks as property.Republican Party passed civil rights legislation. The Democrat Party fillibustered to deny blacks equal rights. Democrat Al Gore Sr. was one of the leaders fillibustering. The Democrat Party continues to support and place people like Democrat Robert Byrd in Leadership Roles even though he was the leader of the Klu Klux Klan and continues to use the N**** word. The Democrat Media continues to hide the fact that Republican President George W. Bush had the most minorities in his cabinet of any President in History. They also hide the fact that Democrat VP and Presidential Nominee Al Gore Jr. had far fewer blacks working for his campaign than the national average and those he did have were paid far less for the same work as the whites. Democrat Al Franken had a similar problem though I don't recall the specifics.Democrat Joe Biden made the racist comment that Obama is doing well because we finally have a CLEAN ARTICULATE African-American running for office.I can go on and on about the Democrat Party's racism and hope people are smart enough to stop looking for Democrat/Socialist/Communist hand outs and start supporting the Republican Party and our Constitution and realize a hand up and standing on your own two feet based on equality is the proper role of gov't and was Martin Luther King Jr.'s message.
It's just not these 2. Many African Americans and other races had a major part in history that would lead up to this event. If it was not for all these people who sacrificed their lives, equality would only be a dream, slavery may still exist, there would be more racism as in the past, and Obama would have not even been born!
to properly celebrate mlk day, they should cap obunghole. or rangle. maybe jesse jackson. one of them. or all of them.
Martin taught us all to dream big, and Malcolm taught us all to stand up for what is right. Their martyrdom did not extinguish their message, it served to make their light burn brighter for all races, not just theirs.
