MLK Jr. believed in getting equil rights by protesting peacefully but Malcolm X went about it by forcing and all in all NOT peacefully
mlk prefered peaceful tactics opposed to malcoms which was that he utilised paramiltary force in order to defend the blacks from whites . MLK wanted to legally solve the issue with negociations while malcom wanted to use fire vs fire in order to acheive the goals of equality
MLK believed in political/social equality for African-AMericans; X. thought this meant nothing without economic equality.Case in point: WHen X. grew up, he told his grade 8 teacher he wanted to be a lawyer, who replied it was not a good idea for him to try this; given he was African-American. Suppose MLK and X met another such a person? MLK would focus on getting such a person into any law school he wanted, regardless of prejudice; X would focus on him getting work after graduating.
