I am a high school senior and a lot of people know me around town(small town) because I like to draw and paint. People think I am really good with art(I don't :S). I was offered a job to paint backdrops on loose canvas. She wants me to paint 3 6ft by 5ft pieces. I found a cheap canvas roll on Amazon for $60. It is 6ft by 18 ft. So, that is approximately $20 for each piece of canvas sheet.
I plan on using acrylic paint. She wants the first piece to be cherry blossom branches. The second piece to be a nursery tree. The last piece is going to be dandelions blowing in the wind.
I am an amateur, so I'm not sure how much I should charge the photographer. My art teacher said I should charge anywhere from $150 to $200, but I don't know. I thought I would ask more people of their opinion.
