Yes I meant deficit as a % of GDP. Equivalent to me whipping out the visa and saying I got a 10% raise this year. What's worse is there's repairs that need to be done to the house, maintenance on the car, but I've spent all my money on a new TV, kitchen remodeling, and some cash to my brother in law who can't pay his bills because he doesn't have a credit card to get that 10% raise.

If you're in favor of post-WWII era taxes and government control of the economy to pay for... jack all of nothing we've been spending the money on, then all I can say is there's ~190 countries in the world and my passport gets me into just about all of them.
