VX10000 Voyager with WAp and MMS tutorial, some1 had to do it...

Hey guys, sorry for being a n00b on my 1st post, but im in a real bad situation with my Voyager!!!

I tried to get data from phone, and somehow managed to have my my phone without any contacts. Im in deep crap, because there is a nuraber I need to contact immediately. The cache for Bitpim has about 282 files in it, which sounRAB like how many contacts I had in it. This is really bad, I will really appreciate any help i can get on getting my contacts back ASAP please!!!

OMG i'm such a duraba**!! It was under Port Settings LOL just had to change it to COM10.

Internet was fixed easily. I called CS since they are open now, said I was having problems, they "provisioned" the account and now I have full web access.

Of course they said that they can't assure internet access on flashed phones, but it does work now. Even youtube is streaming smoothly. Nice!

MMS still gives the "invalid destination address" error, I'll have to double check those settings.

other thing I was going to try was downgrade to v07 firmware and see if that will make it editable, but, if you will sell lemme know

If they are cached in BitPim you should be able to dump them into a file. You can probably use a hex editor from there or even try opening the dump file in a simple text editor: Most of the user data should be ascii text strings.

I honestly don't know but from my experience that's what I would try.

i recieved a verison vx 10000 and would like to flash to cricket , now upon searching i was able to find a script file from kricketflashing that states its a auto script that would flash phone for txt and pict and web .. does any one know how to use this file ? or if it is not a good thing .. auto script sounRAB easy
