Verizon Blitz TXT8010 with WAP/MMS

Aight I haven't seen one of these tutorials... so figured I'd go ahead and share what I got.

This will get MMS/WAP working on your TXT8010. I did mine on the prepaid.

Download File from Link at the BOTTOM

First you will need to install the UTSTARCOM drivers (found in the link).

Second you will need to install UTPST for the TXT8010 (also found in the link)

Third you need to disable MTP by pressing *#6870end (you reenable this by pressing *#6871end)

Now you are ready to begin. Run UTSTARCOM PST CA from Start/Programs/Phone flashing applications/UT STARCOM

Go to Phone Settings

Click on the check box at the top beside "ALL"

Click on Read Phone

Now you are ready to begin editing...... go to the "Security" tab to change the SPC to 000000

You can also go to NAM if you want to fill in this info.... if u want to manually do it later you can type ##7764726 SEND

Next just follow the screenshots..... replace the 502xxxxxxx with your 10 DIGIT MDN. Some things I changed may or may not have been needed.... but it works for me

if u change nams on the blitz your wap settings will go back to verizon and u will have to change the settings again with the pst in order to get ur wap and mms back again

I git everything working on mine, but how do you put ringtones on it? There is no option to use mp3's as ringtones.

thanx i called in and refreshed her mms, also double checked the settings in ut pst... i told her if its not workin in 24 hrs bring it back and ill have them shoot a trouble ticket or something..
