Religion is falling, it will happen fast in the coming few decades. I live in the north east, which is largely secular to begin with, and I've seen churches closing left and right... hell the catholic church that I went to with my friend and his family as a child is gone, and I literally watched the attendance decline throughout my childhood (as I would have to go with them whenever I spent saturday night at his place)

I don't believe, but at the same time I can't say with any authority one way or the other. Evolutionary theory isn't perfect either and it is hard to speculate about how the universe came into existence without pondering some all mighty being.
