werd. fuck union mandates and prevailing wages. most sub contractors are barely getting by with insanely low margins. they can't afford those rates while still having a competitively priced product.

union elevator operator working on a saturday? that poor guy deserves $75/hour for sure.

This. Unions have a place in certain industries, but for the most part their time has come and gone. We don't need a fucking grocery baggers union, and a union for doormen, or a union for the guy who brews your coffee in the morning.
