I recently bought a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, one of the features they told me about was the sunroof. I go to open it and the motor works and acts like it's trying to open the sunroof but it only moves up and down when I attempt to open/close it. I'm not sure that it's the fuse because if it were wouldn't the motor not work at all? I don't want to take it to the dealer for them to fix it because I don't want the bill. I suppose if it's something mechanical I'll have to either deal with not having a operating sunroof or break down and bring it in. The only thing that sucks is I've never had a nice car before and certainly not one with a sunroof, so having that breeze in the summer will be nice, especially since I've got leather interior. Do I need to lube the tracks or could it be a fuse? Or should I just bring it in? I'd rather avoid that if possible.
