I recently lost my Samsung Galaxy S II whilst on Holiday and i'm pretty sure its not comming back, especially since i'm back in the UK now. I had the phone on a 24 month contract at ?30/month, but i'm only half way through that and after speaking to vodafone they sent me a new simcard (standard type) but i have to get a new phone.

I thought about getting a blackberry, but i really want to buy the Iphone 4. I've seen the iphone 4 on vodafone on exactly the same deal and same price as my Galaxy was on, but the iPhone does not take the standard simcard type, it takes a specific micro sim.

Does anybody know if i am allowed to change the simcard type, stay on my current contract aslong as i buy my own iPhone and take into them or something?

Thanks.
