wtf? traveling faster than the speed of light?

still in the viable stage. can't be true, imo. There must be an error somewhere. Brings up so many possibilities if its true, however.

wtf? traveling faster than the speed of light?

There once was a lady named Bright
Who could travel far faster than light
    She set out one day
    In a relative way
And came back the previous night.

I saw this earlier today. I'm not completely surprised though. I don't think humans will ever fully understand any concept. I emailed it to my relativity professor from a few years back, I'll check back in with his view on things

Why not? Theories can be disproved, or modified by new scientific findings, this is how the scientific method works

What in your opinion is so ridiculous about this? Go into excruciating detail please, I want to see worRAB that I didn't know exist

wtf? traveling faster than the speed of light?

Nuetrinos are simply the excess given off during nuclear fusion, while anything with "mass" cannot travel at the speed of light, nuetrinos are as close to massless as you can get, therefore allowing them to move at pretty much whatever speed they are given off at. Infinite amounts of these pass through you and everything around you at any given second and within the last few years we've figured out how to "catch" them to prove their existence.

*This is my very limited understanding of this shit from a few astronomy classes.
