The Headphones/Audio Thread

Looking to get some decent over-the-ear headphones for roughly $50 as an xmas gift from one of my siblings... I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a decent pair. It has to have decent bass although not to the point where it rattles my brain. Comfort is always an issue as well as sound quality (obviously.) Anyone have a pair they are happy with?

I use to keep listening songs on headphone for most of the time.. Nowadays i feel more pain on my ears. And also not able to here what people speaking to me...
