you probably have a similar course study as me. I'm a math math major with a heavy econ concentration. I have to do all the major requirements that an economics major would (2 macros, 2 micros, international econ, money/banking and econometrics 1 and 2) minus the free econ electives, on top of the normal math major. I'll be honest though, I'm liking economics less and less as i go. My main gripe is that every concept or model you learn is so controlled that it really doesn't seem to apply at all to any real situation. I haven't gotten to econometrics yet though, which i anticipate liking much more.

That's the issue up to forecasting and econometrics classes. Everything is assumed. There are so many assumptions that classwork is almost completely separate from real world application. It pissed me off. My second international trade class started getting into more applicable things though, and econometrics and forecasting is all about economic predictions and such, so it's much more hanRAB on and more realistic.

I love micro, but there are just so many assumptions surrounding the various theories and models.

dbl enviro sci and history. minor polisci .
    didnt fail ecology ! woopwooop.

not entirely sure what ill do after graduating but i have alot in mind . ideally i want to go to law school but incurring 1000's of dollars of debt right after i graduate on top of undergrad debt does not sound so enticing. so i may consider entering a jag program (thoughts on which branch? NOT MARINES)

gonna also apply for Teach For America/Americorps if i don't get accepted to TFA. possibly peace corps if i have nothing else to do . possibilities are endless and it's overwhelming.
