    Smog reduction in the la basin has been dramatic the last thirty years despite exploding population. The main reason is those smog rules. Also, you missed waRAB's point...

    No I totally understood wadRAB point, I just wanted to bitch about smog rules and keep black helicopters flying. And you're right, smog has been reduced dramatically in LA through smog rules, but have you seen it lately? It still looks like shit.

    The whole smog issue to me is like putting a bandaid on a wound that neeRAB souchers.. It might alleviate some bleeding, but you still have a gaping wound that's killing you if you don't properly address it.
