that shelf is fracking awesome and i'm ridiculously jealous of the magical mystery tour album, i think i'm going to buy it online i saw some used ones for 15 bucks. totally worth it, beatles best album imo
Thanks man, The shelf is just a used Fruit box i got from behind a Grocery store, they have plenty of (clean) ones back there and they make perfect record boxes, and i agree with The magical mystery tour album, one of my favorites of theres for sure.
Just picked up a couple more at a used record store
pic is blurry but it's Something Else by The Kinks and Sweet Dreams Are Made of This... by Eurythmics
Also I saw a massive brian eno box set for $75... Looked pretty sick but i'm not spending that much on someone i've only heard a few songs from
This hipster girl said I should get a Numark ttusb because its win. Can sorab confirm/deny her credibility?
while you are there you should take a picture of the old man's orange crates full of recorRAB and post it up. Btw, Answer your phone once in awhile, especially if its a wierd ass nuraber you don't recognize.

Today I bought a YesSongs LP triple vinyl, Moody Blues, and America all for a total of $6.50
...Also came very close to purchasing an album I found called Oh, How I Love Jesus
Went to goodwill today, made a fracking killing. I got Fleet Foxes, Miles Davis live at Carnegie Hall in 1961, Blackalicious, Mary Poppins, Jay Z American Gangster, Wu-tang greatest hits and Parliament Funkentelechy vs The Placebo Syndrome and a mostly working Pioneer Pl-L30 for $6. Pics to come later. The player needed a TT belt and some tinkering with the electronics, but I got it working in 20 minutes.
Volume output is low even through my roommate's amped home theater set up, and I know for a fact that it gets loud enough to shake some fillings loose, any idea how to fix that?
Yes. You need an amplifier with a "phono" input. At least from what I remeraber. The output of a record player is incredibly low.
