I found a 1996 Toyota Camry for $2,000 that is a perfect price for me and the fiance right now & a Toyota is the only car I'd even think about buying with more than 100k miles. Is 200k just too much though? Nothing seems to be wrong with it and there's no check engine lights on or anything. It's cheap..which is exactly what we need for the time being. I don't expect it to last 10 years..or even 5. I'll just ecstatic if it lasts long enough for us to save to get another car. I have unwavering faith in the Toyota cars because that's what I've always had and they've been amazing.
Plus, I have no qualms with having work done on it or even dropping a new engine in. Those cars are so common that parts for it are everywhere.
Would you buy it?
