Yahoo Calendar > Outlook on Nokia Lumia 800

    Good evening.

I have recently been given a Nokia Lumia 800 for work and might I say, It's fantastic !!!

Our office use Yahoo's Online Calendar to track and make appointments for staff, and according to Yahoo website, it is Sync'able to Outlook.

I have now spent every evening for the last two weeks trying to get them to play together but with no luck (hence been on here) and my wife has promised to insert the phone in a very dark and painful place if I spend any more time trying!! - I really would like to be able to do this as it would then save me carrying a phone, a diary, a work planner around with me all day !!! I know that my phone has outlook but i just cant get my head round it !

:israel: So my question....... Would some one be kind enough to give me a walk through on how to get Mr Yahoo and Mr Nokia to be nice to each other ???

Yahoo Calendar > Outlook on Nokia Lumia 800

Here you go: Sync calendars and to-dos | Windows Phone 7

You may need to sync Yahoo Calender to Outlook, then sync Outlook to Windows Live!

Yahoo Calendar > Outlook on Nokia Lumia 800

    A little more details !
I need to be able to update an appointment whilst in the field and this update within a short period to the Yahoo calendar. Also when the office add an appointment, it updates on my phone calendar.

I don't have to use the outlook option, as long as it works.

Yahoo Calendar > Outlook on Nokia Lumia 800

Here's another link for you: Hotmail Calendar Help Center - Import a Calendar or Subscribe to a Calendar

You have to subscribe your Yahoo calender to your Live calender to gain access to it on your Window Phone. Will be integrated in your Live calender.
And to gain write access, that is updating your Yahoo calender from your Windows Phone, you have to subscribe your Live calender to your Yahoo calender as well.
Then everything should work flawlessly. But from what I read you won't be able to edit/delete Yahoo entries though! You can only add.

I have linked yahoo and gmail to gmail to yahoo (calendars)

I have then added Gmail to my phone and all appts are now on my phone calendar.... fantastic.

Yahoo Calendar > Outlook on Nokia Lumia 800

Here you go: Some of your calendars don't sync with Windows Phone

Hope that would be the last step..
    Report back in either cases..
