I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee. The A/C stays cool for the first 5-10 minutes then warms up and becomes very humid...so much that you feel sticky from it. After leaving it off for a few minutes, I can then cut it back on and it'll be cool again for a few minutes.

I've had the system evacuated and refilled but this has not helped the situation. I also tried another low pressure clutch cycling sensor but this doesn't seem to help things either.

Any idea what would cause this? It's like something is either freezing up and then melting or something is getting too hot to cause it to stop and then start like it's doing. Only when I cut it back off for a few minutes can I then get a few more minutes of cold air.
