My work is remote control accessing my personal computer without my permission even though I have Allow Remote Assistance connections on this computer Unchecked and Don't allow connections to this computer checked. What should I do to prevent my job from accessing my computer and can my job legally access my computer without my permission? I have not signed anything allowing my job to access my personal laptop. (The computer was not given to me by the company)
What steps can I take to prevent this from happening? I would like to have privacy on my laptop. It makes me feel very uncomfortable.
