Rudy Eugene was gunned down by a Miami cop after he stripped a homeless man and then chewed off his face.

The Miami man who chewed off the face of a homeless man may not actually be a real-life Hannibal Lecter.
An autopsy reveals that Rudy Eugene had no human flesh in his stomach after he viciously bit off the nose, mouth and eyes of his victim, according to a law enforcement officer who spoke to The Miami Herald Friday.
The autopsy, instead, found several undigested pills in the attacker's system, the newspaper reports. The pills have not yet been identified and it will be weeks before toxicology tests are released.
FUNERAL HELD FOR MIAMI 'CANNIBAL'
Eugene, 31, was gunned down by a Miami police officer who found him tearing off the face of Ronald Poppo with his teeth on the side of a causeway in broad daylight on May 26.
Police found chunks of the 66-year-old homeless man's flesh on the ground.
It is still unclear what sparked Eugene's bizarre attack on Poppo, who remains hospitalized.
The autopsy found traces of marijuana in Eugene's system, according to the Miami Herald.
Authorities suspect that Eugene may have been under the influence of "bath salts", a man-made, synthetic drug that is known to cause excited delirium and violent behavior. The drug is available in pill and powder form, according to a report by the Regional Organized Crime Information Center.
The attacker's girlfriend said Wednesday that Eugene did not have a history of mental illness or hard drug abuse.
"Rudy never drank alcohol or used drugs around me," Yovonka Bryant said at the news conference. "I only ever saw him smoke a marijuana cigarette once."
Police are trying to determine what Eugene was doing in the hours before the assault.
Shortly before the gruesome attack, a 911 caller reported “a completely naked man” swinging from the top of one of the light poles on the MacArthur causeway.
Surveillence video from a nearby building shows Eugene stripping Poppo and punching him to the ground before leaning over his face.
"He's beating another man. It's a naked man beating another man," another 911 caller reported. "He is going to kill that man. I promise you."
The police officer who shot and killed Eugene asked the naked attacker to stop several times. Eugene simply growled in return.
Eugene's autopsy report will likely not be released until Miami-Dade prosecutors finish their review of the shooting.
