    Help Decorating my Banner?

Hello, every year at my school, we have a mini Olympics. This year, one challenge is a banner decorating event. On it, we have to decorate our banner (a white sheet of paper) to resemble our country, Portugal. And, I'm on here asking for ideas for me to put on my banner.

    Thank You! Much Appreciated!

    Thank You!

Cut the paper in the shape of your country.
Add a few images of players from Portugal who have won in Olympics. You can cut out circles from chocolate wrapper to resemble the gold, silver & bronze medals & glue the player's picture over the respective medal s/he won. In fact, you can cut cardboard circles, wrap them with the colored foil [these should be slightly larger than the actual photo so as to form a frame], glue the photo & then glue the cardboard medal on the banner. This will give it a real, 3d look.
You can even add some ribbons on the medals.
If you don't h ave pictures, simply write the names in good calligraphy.
Write an inspiring quotation or slogan for the children participating in the mini Olympics at your school.

    Hope this helps?
All the very best & have fun :-)
