i just got a PC from a friend and when i tried hooking it up to my tv or my moniter with 2 different VGA cords it how show anything so its probably a problem with the computer its self but the copmuter turn on just fine. it seems like a somewhat old computer with a Glite cooler master case

most probably must be a problem with the VGA cord. did you try with any other VGA cord....?
