We have a 3 year old pepper plant that we had thought had died a few months ago. We originally got it at Home Depot and it was a very leafy and beautiful plant. As the years went on the plant has produced peppers in a very respectable amount. About 7 months ago the plant was all twigs, we thought it had died and we thought of pulling it out. I put the plant out on the side of the house that gets sun all day and it came back to life, in only 1 month it has a few big peppers and its growing tons of big leaves.

Now, I don't know what to do with the bare twigs we picked peppers off, (see pictures) Should these be left alone or should we trim them off? (BTW, we live in a very nice weather area, So- Cal) Our beloved plant came back to life thanks to our sun, but about the bare twigs, should we cut them off or leave them alone?

Thanks
