I remember back in my elementary school years, boys who had lighter voices were made fun of from others and considered "feminine". Eating in the cafeteria, I remember a group of girls made fun of another big girl for eating and looking like a man. There's a lot more bad moments I remember. But now I see everything different. In college I've met noticeably transgender people. I've also seen a several number of gay couples. I have a transgender friend who dresses differently. I rarely see anyone talk or care about his ways. I've noticed a big positive difference between my elementary school and college years, of how people viewed others who acted out of gender. I rarely see people care nowadays. This makes me wonder, do you think the notion femininity and masculinity die out someday?
