Help: My womanhood is itchy.?

For the past month or so I have been experiencing frequent vaginal itch. I don't know where it came from but it's been driving me crazy! It gets extremely itchy all the time and it's hard to resist the urge to scratch it. I'm not sexually active, I'm not taking any kind of medication, my vagina doesn't look discolored or and there's nothing unusual coming out of it or anything, and I clean it whenever I take shower. What should I do? Is there something I can buy to stop the itching?
