I am beginning bicycling to loose weight, because it gets me out and I really enjoy it. I am trying to loose weight and tone up the flabbier areas, but I'm worried that some of my key areas (stomache, thighs, calfs and bum) might just bulk up with muscle rather than slim down.. Is this the case? I do want to tone up too but I want to slim these areas down first! Will bike riding do this or just make these areas bulkier?
