Do reckon mobile phones have a bit to do with it, once upon a time if you saw someone broken down on the side of the road we would pull up & see if they needed help, now it's assumed they have a phone & RACQ assistance.
I was in Aldi yesterday & I could see through the glass, an old woman with a walker trying to cross the road, four lanes, everyone was looking at her & walking past. I left my shopping & walked her home.
It felt good, she was very happy.
Do you think that people might just assume that if she needed help she would call someone, or do they really not see or care?
