Years ago I had a DSL account with ATT. I created a yahoo email address that is tied to ATT. Now my email account is being used to send email by some other person (actually, the name is on the emails). I have been receiving the "MAILER/DAEMON failure to mail" message in my inbox and it includes a copy of the message sent from my email account with the name (probably an alias) on them.

Now I cannot change my password, I cannot delete the email account without going thru ATT. AND since I do not have a current account with ATT, and have not for like 7 years, accessing the account with a "log in" is not an option.

I cannot be the first person that this has happened to. There must be a protocol to take care of this situation. There is no money to be made so ATT will not lift a finger (so far) to help me.

Anybody got the fix?
