I am looking to do my law dissertation on the corroboration rule in Scotland in relation to sexual offences.

I am looking go advice.

I am going to do my dissertation on: whether the corroboration rule in relation to sexual offences is fit for purpose or whether this should be abolished.

In this I will discuss the positives and negivties of the rule and what effects this would have our legal system if it was removed and what policies should be introduced to ensure people are not wrongly convicted.

Does anyone this this is good idea or if this is too narrow? And if anyone thinks of any further arguements or key areas to include ?
