ok. so, I have here a molecular structure that can be both 3 ethyl 2 methylhexane and isopropylhexane. since there is two possible answers, which one will I choose? they say, pick the lowest combination of numbers, and shortest name possible. but according to the tutorial I had viewed, he used the first one ( the 3 ethyl 2 methyl ...) NOW I'M CONFUSED! everytime I encounter this, I always commit mistakes, please help me, and for the second one, is cis trans isomerism applicable only in cyclohydrocarbons? how about EZ? all your help will be trull appreciated
