Thread: does the flash on a camera hurt a babys eyes?

I love taking pictures of my little bit but try to do it in the day time so I dont have to use the flash, but does it hurt there eyes like it would ours?
shes 4 months.. but it makes me see dots does it do the same for her

I'm not sure if it hurts her but I take pics in a bright room because she always blinks and squints so I dont like her reaction to the flash.

well if your baby is under 3 months, yes it could hurt them. above 3 months, i dont think it should.
