Is it rude to play games on your cell when you're with a friend?

Say you and a friend are riding the bus somewhere. Is it rude to be on your cell rather than talking continually?

You can a little but not obsessively. Interact with your friend as well

To an adult, yes, but to kids, not really, unless the friend wants to tell you about stuff, and you're just playing on your phone. Try feeling what they feel.

If the trip is longer than an hour you should ask first. It is always rude not to ask. If it is under and hour I'd say it is rude. I recommend bringing along magnetic travel board games so that you can do stuff together.

Depends on the conversation. If your friend is talking to you about a serious conversation and your answer means a lot to him/her, but your playing a game on your phone then he/she will assume your ignoring him/her or just not taking the conversation seriously, then yes, its rude... But if your just being chill with your friend and having short random conversation then yeah that's alright to play games lol...
