In Hiroshima, do you think that the U.S. should have used A. Bombs?

I'm just wondering like what was the reason they used them istead of regular bombs? Were they more effective? Or what? I really don't know very much about war in general and we are studying about world war 2 in history class. Whenever we do activites or when my teacher talks i get lost. i'm the kind of person who needs things explained in depth.

The US provoked Japan in to attacking the US by forcing an oil embargo. Japan then bombed one military base, which was largely a set-up so the US could get in to WWII.

Even if you disagree with the first part, here's what really happened when those bombs were dropped:

Thousands of innocent Japanese civilians were vaporized, burned, crushed, and disfigured. They are still having problems with genetic deformities to this day. After a nuclear attack the land and water is dangerous for decades afterwards.

Atom bombs were dropped to scare the crap out of the Soviets.
