girls flashing fake smiles?

a lot of times when i look at a girl passing by, she always flashes a forced/fake smile and looks away....am i that repulsive to look at or is it just a second nature thing?

hahaha. no I get that a lot too! its a girl thing. theyre probably jealous. you most likely do it too and dont even notice

i don't think there is anything wrong with you, even though i haven't seen you. its usually normal for girls to look a someone and smile just to show that they are not trying to be rude.

Here's an interesting random fact that I learned from my favorite author. You can tell when someone fakes a smile because they will show their bottom teeth. A real smile causes an involuntary muscle movement that will result in the bottom lip covering the lower teeth.

The forced smile is probably just a way of being nice or trying to get your attention. The quick look away is probably them getting negative feedback from your facial expression. So, smile back.

you might be starring at her in a weird way. Thats when I give guys a false smile, because what else can you do? Otherwise, girls smile at guys when they find them attractive. Without knowing what you look like or what you do, it's hard to tell what girls would think of you and why they would do that.

I think girls do that because they're trying to be nice. They don't want you to think that they're the kind of girls who find less attractive people repulsive.
